About the event

We are extremely happy and pleased that you have chosen to be part of this very first SAS flight to Mumbai, India.
We will take you on an adventure from local gems and cultural encounters to rich history and refined luxury, so you can discover the hidden and charming spots of Mumbai!

Program

2 June – Inaugural Flight

Flight SK969 departs from Copenhagen at 13:10. You will travel in SAS Business Class, experiencing our premium service on this historic first departure to Mumbai. Make sure to apply for your e-Tourist visa here

3 June – Welcome to Mumbai

Flight SK969 arrives in Mumbai at 01:30 (local time). A direct transfer will take you to Taj Tower Hotel for check-in and rest. Later in the day, we will ease into the rhythm of the city with a relaxed introduction to Mumbai.

4 June – Discover Mumbai: Culture, History & Local Life

Following breakfast, we embark on a full day exploration, diving into the many layers of Mumbai. In the evening, we are delighted to invite you to a special dinner featuring authentic Indian cuisine.

5 June – Official Inauguration Reception

This day is yours to explore Mumbai at your own pace.

In the evening, SAS warmly invites you to join us for an official inauguration reception celebrating the new direct connection between Mumbai and Copenhagen.

This distinguished gathering will bring together key executives from SAS, valued partners, and members of the local Scandinavian and Indian community – creating an opportunity to connect, celebrate, and mark this important milestone together.

5 June – Official Inauguration Reception

Flight SK970 departs from Mumbai at 06:00, arriving in Copenhagen at 11:45. The return journey will also be in SAS Business Class.

Flight Information

The flight will depart from Copenhagen on SK969 on 2 June at 13:10, arriving in Mumbai on 3 June at 01:30 (local time).

Return flight SK970 departs Mumbai on 6 June at 06:00, arriving in Copenhagen at 11:45 (local time).

If you are not based on Copenhagen, please arrange your own connecting flights to Copenhagen in time for departure.

Accomodation

Hotel accommodation in Mumbai will be arranged for the official program dates (3–6 June).

If you choose to arrive in Copenhagen prior to departure, please note that accommodation before departure must be arranged individually.

Dietary Requirements

Please inform us of any dietary requirements or allergies when confirming your participation. This information will be used both for onboard catering and for meals during the program in Mumbai.

Visa Information

All participants are responsible for obtaining their own visa for India.

We strongly encourage you to apply as early as possible to ensure sufficient processing time.
